WHAT IS THE BEST THING THAT I LOVE ABOUT MY WORK?
THE LIMITLESS CREATIVITY. KNOWING THAT INSIDE MY MIND THERE’S THIS ALMOST MAGICAL CONNECTION BETWEEN COLOURS, THOUGHTS AND FEELINGS… MEANINGS THAT I GIVE TO SHAPES AND THAT WITHOUT ANY NEED FOR WORDS…SOMEONE OUT THERE IN THIS VAST PLANET WILL SEE WHAT I CREATED AND WILL FEEL SOMETHING!
WHAT IS MY IDEA OF PERFECT HAPPINESS?
MY IDEA OF PERFECT HAPPINESS IS WHEN MY HEAD, MY BODY, MY HEART AND SOUL ARE IN HARMONY. FIRST AND FOREMOST BE IN A HONEST RELATIONSHIP WITH MYSELF. LOVING AND RESPECTING THE PERSON I AM. THE CONNECTION BETWEEN WHAT I NEED, WHAT I WANT AND WHAT I DO WITH WHAT I HAVE. LOVE, PASSION, THE LITTLE THINGS IN LIFE THAT MEAN THE WORLD TO ME.
WHAT IS MY GREATEST FEAR?
TO WASTE MY LIFE IN THINGS THAT DON’T MATTER, TO BE IN MY LAST SECONDS AND REALIZE I DIDN’T ENJOY BEING ALIVE.
WHAT IS THE TRAIT THAT I MOST DEPLORE IN MYSELF?
MY SELF–CRITIC. I GUESS I COULD BLAME IT ON THE APPRECIATION AND APPROVAL THAT I DIDN’T GET WHEN I WAS A CHILD, BUT IN ALL FAIRNESS AT THIS AGE I KNOW IT IS MORE ME THAN ANYTHING ELSE. THAT NAGGING VOICE THAT IT IS MY WORST ENEMY.
I have worked on a special project. I was contacted by a facilitator from the Saskatchewan correctional centre. They are running program to help people who for the wrong choices are inside and unable to maintain a strong relationship with their love ones.
Some of the participants of this program have decided to write books. Books that they hope, will help them rekindle that relationship. And I am so glad and thankful I had the chance to collaborate with them as illustrator of one of the books. Wyatt Bear is the author.
My interview on HERE! Magazine was a great opportunity to talk about being an immigrant in this beautiful city and also feeling local after so many years of living here.
Jakelina Listes , Director of Partnership and Collaboration, did a terrific job interviewing me and her words and the way she tells my story could have not been better.
It was wonderful delivered the 17 illustrations and the cover for the children’s book I have been working since November 2017.
The author Nichola Watson’ has received them and she is as satisfied and happy about them as I am.

I was approached by the magazine's editor to see if I wanted to be feature my work on their issue #20.
And then I got offered to be on the cover!!! and I got paid!
I was so exited about this!
it was one of those moments that you feel like running and phoning your mom and letting her know!
Sadly the magazine is closing down.
But I got my moment of happy!
