Seascapes have a way to convey movement and abundance of life. Transporting you places without moving.

Subdued nature tones complement each other on this calming artwork. Inviting you to hear the wind between the islet’s trees, you can almost smell the salt in the air, feel the feet becoming wet as the shoreline dances closer to you. Butter sand melts under your toes. Seagulls singing and that unique ocean breeze that elates you while makes everything around you go in slow motion. Hungry for a lungful of present. Leaving yesterday behind, and the future for tomorrow. 

The location for this piece is inspired by an afternoon in Port Renfrew. There is where this seascape came to be, sitting on the wooden deck with nothing but my easel my canvas and paint, barefoot and unequivocally open to listen to Mother Nature. That’s the closest I can be feel to heaven on earth.
